Note.

A 50% deposit of the total sum must be paid minimum 2 (two) weeks in advance for the reservation to be confirmed. If a cancelation is being done within 1 week prior to the set time of the event the deposit paid will become non-refundable.

OUTLET

Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro is only located in Singapore. We have no collaboration etc with other fika restaurants, cafe's etc anywhere else in the world.

OPENING HOURS

We are open 7 days a week, all year round.

 

• Sunday-Thursday and PH: 11am-9pm, last order is 8.15pm (kitchen only)

• Friday-Saturday: 11am-10pm, last order is 9.15pm (kitchen only)

• Eve of public Holiday: 11am-10pm, last order is 9.15pm (kitchen only)

 

Note.

Our upstairs section is always open for public on (unless there's an event being set up or is going on):

• Fridays & Eve of Public Holidays: 6pm onwards

• Saturdays & Public Holidays: the whole day

• Sundays, 12noon-6pm

 

Note.

Opening hours on other days for upstairs may vary due to staff availability as well as customer flow.

 

Note.

Last order for desserts from kitchen falls 15 minutes after al a carte menu last order.

During New Year (31st of December) we close our outlets at 9pm, last order is 8.15pm.

RESERVATIONS AND WALK-INS

We do recommend reservations but it's not compulsary for you make one in order to be able to come and have a great time at our cafe. Unless otherwise requested we will do our best to provide you a table indoors.

 

Our policy is to always call our customers on the day of the reservation to confirm the booking. If we can't reach you we will leave a message and ask you to call us back as soon as possible. If we haven't heard anything from you prior to your reservation we will see the booking as not confirmed and the reservation is cancelled.

 

Note.

• We only allow up to 8 pax reservations via online bookings.

• Contact us directly at +65 6396 9096 if you need to reserve a table for more than 8 pax.

• Table reservations will be held for 5 mins.

• Last reservation is 8pm.

• We don't accept table reservations via facebook or direct email.

• There's only two ways to make a reservation:

   1. Call us directly at +65 6396 9096

   2. Online reservation (direct links can be found on our website and FB)

• Please call us and inform us if you will be late.

SERVICE CHARGE AND GST

There is an add-on to the total bill for service charge (10%) and GST (9%).

There is no service charge for take-aways.

REFILLABLE WATER

We do charge S$0.50 for a glass of refillable water, however 100% of all sales are donated to the Hope Villages Fund in aid of clean, filtered water for the villages in Cambodia.

OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS

Our policy follows SFA (Singapore Food Agency)  regulations strictly.

• We do NOT accept any form of outside food and/or drinks to be consumed in our premises (seated at our outside tables are counted as well).

 

Exception:

Babyfood for children of guests.

 

Cakes:

If you know that you're planning to celebrate a friends' or family members' birthday at Fika please do remember that you can't bring your own cake as you will not be allowed to take it out of your box. We will also not keep it for you in our fridges/freezers. To help you solve this issue we do have a full range of cakes that you can choose from for your special occasion. Just visit our outlet or our bakery, Konditori, located at 33 Bussorah Street and talk to our staff regarding your needs and specifications.

 

Note.

• Any order for cakes must be done at least 3 (three) days in advance.

• For cake orders a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total sum must be paid before we order the specific cake.

PETS & ANIMALS

Pets are allowed at our premises, but only at our outdoor B6-B8 seatings.

HALAL CERTIFICATION

Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro is 100% Halal. We are now listed in the MUIS list of Halal Establishments as we have a 100% Muslim owned and run certificate from the Singapore Muslim Chamber of Commerce.

ALCOHOL

As our cafes are owned and operated by muslims,  alcohol is strictly not allowed at our premises (both inside and outside).

RAMADAN (FASTING MONTH) AND HARI RAYA

During break fast we will run a shorter menu in order to speed up the operation. The shorter menu will run every day between 6.30pm and 8pm. In order to ensure that your food will be served on time your order must have been placed by 6.45pm latest.

MENU AND RECIPES

Fika Swedish Café and Bistro serves only Swedish cuisine.

Our entire menu, without exception, is based on cherished family recipes from Sweden, which we proudly prepare and serve with great care and attention to detail.

We do not entertain any customisations of our dishes, unless specific dietry requests or allergies. 

Halal

Regarding the term "halal," we understand that there might be some confusion. In essence, "halal" simply means "permissible" or "allowed" in Arabic. It is not a particular cooking style but a set of guidelines related to the sourcing and preparation of ingredients according to Islamic dietary laws. At our restaurant, the term "halal" signifies that our dishes adhere to these dietary requirements, ensuring they are suitable for consumption by individuals with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

It's crucial to emphasize that our dedication to providing halal options does not compromise the authenticity or essence of Swedish cuisine.
